Recently someone reminded me that some people actually pay attention to what I'm doing, and so after 3 months here is another post. I have been fairly busy with other commitments lately (as well as the christmas season), and haven't put as much work into Bloom as I would like, although things are getting closer to being finished, I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, there will still be a long way to go.

The skyline for the film is almost complete. I am in the workings of creating a large scale building which will appear to be right outside the window in the film. This building has the most detail out of the 8 buildings. So it may take a few days.

Added some new set pieces to the bedroom, some bronze miniatures were donated recently and I felt the clock suit the room well. Will be nice once the room is fully furnished with practical lamp, and a television.

Here is another photo of the latest stage of the city landscape. These buildings are taking longer than I initially thought. It will be nice when this is all done. Updates soon.

Fifty Floors Up

The skyscrapers are now being built. I have drawn out some designs of how the buildings will look, with their own slight uniqueness. The sky scrapers also will be built from scratch but each building will be decorated with several familiar items.
Unfortunately in this picture the paint was still wet. I will have better photos soon, hopefully in front of the background sky backdrop. New pictures soon.

Imperial Bedroom : The Bedroom is Done

Here is a layout view of the Bedroom, which is basically complete minus a few props. I recently picked up the potted plant prop for the film. Here is two more views of the bedroom set. I will be moving the set soon, into the filming location, so i will be able to build the city landscape outside the window, as well as finish the bathroom. Updates to follow soon.

Drawing To A Whole [part 2]

So I have finished the dresser drawer, it looks much better now, with real drawers and handles. Below is a picture I took through the window of the set. I have also begun working on some "pre" pre production of the film that will succeed "Bloom". As of right now I am not giving much information on the new film until I have developed it more.

Working on a dresser. Just need to fix it up a bit. Soon, just soon enough I will be done the bedroom/living room furniture.

Soon I will have something different to photograph.

Bed Time

I am almost done the bed, still have the linens to finish sewing. the frame is complete.
After the sheets I can't say what my next steps are going to be. Focus is a bit off, but you get the idea.

This is the first photo I've taken of the bedroom put together. There will eventually be latches and hinges to keep everything together. I'm currently working on a bed, which should be done by the end of the week.

I've started building the furniture for the room, I started with something easy, and reminds me of set pieces I built for other films.There will be more being built in the next week or so.

The Window is finally finished. I can finally move on to better things. Like the furniture in the room.
Ignore the background through the window, that's just the bathroom wall.

Update:

I added some rings to the curtains, which i feel work really well. I got them from cutting up handles of those recycled Green Earth bags.

Slowly/Surely Moving

Unfortunately things aren't going as quickly as i'd like, however things are being accomplished.
Here is a closer look at the finished window. I plan to work on the curtains this week.I hope to update as soon as possible.

Lets Try This Again [Bloom]

Now that Bloom is underway, I am going to try and make as many updates as possible. So far the Living room set is being built. Right now, three of the four walls are 85% done. The Floor is being cut this week, and will hopefully be ready to be put together soon.
At the moment the living room/bedroom is the priority. Mostly due to the fact that I will be shooting most of those scenes first.
I will try to update as much as possible as the film production progresses.
